Lisa Simpson

“I work all over the UK, but Liverpool, where I live, has seen less of my work. My home serves as the headquarters for Lisa Simpson Inclusive Dance. During lockdown, it became my sanctuary. Unlike others, my lockdown experience was unique. Unfortunately, even today, some people still patronise me. During lockdown, I was shielded from that, allowing me to feel safe and content, as if I were in a bubble. This sense of security inspired me to create my new piece with professional non-disabled dancers, titled Being Human.”
